St. Luzibrücke

Within the framework of the international one-stage anonymous project competition in the selective procedure "St. Luzibrücke" in Chur, which was organized by Tiefbauamt Kanton Graubünden, the office Gruner Wepf AG, Zurich has reached the third place. The proposed bridge is an arch bridge made of reinforced concrete with a span of 320m and a spur height of 55m. The flat stretched arch bridge with few columns allows an elegant and for the span and dimension of the bridge very filigree construction. The individual elements are designed as simple cubic elements so as not to compete with the overall shape of the arched bridge.
