Enhancing Fire Safety Planning with Scan to BIM for Stadium and Outdoor Facilities

The integration of "Scan to BIM" into other engineering services offers ideal opportunities. Fire protection and safety are always of central importance, both for us and for our customers. After all, our ultimate goal is to ensure that buildings provide durable and safe accommodation for people, especially when it comes to public buildings that house many people.

As part of fire safety planning, it is crucial to capture the foundation of a stand, and this is where "Scan to BIM" comes in. Thanks to the rapid recording and modelling, we were able to create a precise, state-of-the-art foundation within a few weeks. With the help of 3D documentation and construction plans, our fire protection expert from Gruner was able to check the relevant fire protection aspects and finally create the fire protection planning and the associated plans. This enables us to ensure the safety and protection of the people using the building, especially in situations involving large crowds.
