Zwingen Birs
Various measures were planned and carried out on the Birs in Zwingen to enable fish passage and for flood protection: Lowering of the riverbed, reactivation of the former moat at Zwingen Castle (flood relief), flood embankment, replacement of a 3.5 m high drop with a block ramp and underpinning of the bank protection.
