Railway renovation between Delémont and Laufon

Gruner acted as specialist contractor for the supervision of the works. The work was carried out on the SBB network in the cantons of Jura, Solothurn and Basel-Landschaft.

 During the works, all components of the railway superstructure and infrastructure were refurbished, as well as various related works carried out: drainage installations, retention basin, laying of cable ducts.

 In figures :

• 4,200 meters of drainage,
• 16,900 square meters of AC rail sealing,
• 29,000 tonnes of ballast
• 15,000 new concrete sleepers,
• 18,200 meters of rail laid
• 3,800 meters of new drainage channels installed
• 1 screening plant
• Peak equipment: 30 machines, including work trains
• Peak workforce: 80 workers.

 All installations were renewed during the 7-week interruption of rail traffic on the section (26.06.2023 to 15.08.2023).
