The Suva office and commercial building at Rösslimattstrasse 37/39 in Lucerne, which was built in the 80s and 90s, consists of 7 storeys and 2 basement floors. The building is mainly used as office space, but there is also a tenant fit-out for retail space and storage rooms as well as a few residential units. A Suva computer centre is operated in the building, which is one of the building's core properties. The building is now due for refurbishment with the aim of renewing the building technology and optimising the usable space. The project has been categorised as quality assurance level 2 (QSS 2).
Gruner provided various services as part of this restoration. These included fire protection support in the early construction phases, as well as a fire protection status analysis and a fire protection concept including plans. We also provided various services in terms of fire management, such as a fire management concept. Finally, we also drew up a fire brigade deployment plan to prepare the building and its users for an emergency. Various integral tests were carried out as part of all these services.
