Office tower of Roche Diagnostics AG in Rotkreuz

More than just a facade

Roche Diagnostics AG is planning the construction of a central administration building on its company premises in Rotkreuz ZG, which will include a 67 metre high office tower. The architecture of this imposing building was designed by Burckhardt+Partner AG, Basel, which emerged as the winner of a limited competition. Roche Diagnostics is pursuing the highest standards for the energy concept in this project, which must interact closely with the building envelope and the quality of utilisation. The company is aiming for a high degree of optimisation in terms of both energy requirements and the CO2 footprint of the building.

In view of these requirements, the client commissioned Gruner AG to ensure that the planned striking all-glass façade met the required standards. Gruner AG took on the task of testing and assessing the quality of the façade to ensure high energy efficiency and planning reliability.

Gruner AG used advanced methods and technologies to collect precise data and make well-founded recommendations. This expertise was instrumental in achieving Roche Diagnostics' energy and environmental goals while creating a comfortable working environment for the building's future users.
