Modification of the matran junction on the A12 motorway in Switzerland
Design of the drainage and treatment system for surface runoff
The SGT consortium, led by Gruner Stucky S.A., has been commissioned to draw up the detailed design for the new motorway junction at Matran, followed by the preparation of a call for tenders and supervision of the construction work.
For this project, Gruner is in charge of the design of the entire surface runn-off drainage and tratment system. The designed installation includes a rainwater retention basin with a sand filter of around 2,000m³, a pre-treatment system (oil separator, lamellar separator, etc.), the entire network of pipes, chambers and valves, as well as the discharge structure into the nearby watercourse (La Bagne). These services include the complete dimensionning of the system, the production of construction execution drawings, the preparation of detailed specifications and the phasing of the works for the call for tenders, as well as the issuing of invitations to tender to companies and monitoring of execution.
