Residential complex Lindenpark

The Lindenpark residential complex in Allschwil was built in 1973 as a typical example of the architecture of the time. Together, the buildings comprise 120 flats, a child daycare centre and a car park with 196 parking spaces. The development was now categorised as being in need of restoration, which resulted in a complete restoration.

As a first step, Gruner carried out a condition analysis in order to make a rough cost estimate, from which a refurbishment concept was then developed. The construction measures included a comprehensive renovation of the building envelope and the refurbishment of all flat units. This included a total replacement of all kitchens and wet rooms. All of this work was carried out while the buildings were unoccupied.

In addition to the initial condition analysis, Gruner's services included fire protection consulting, which led to the creation of a detailed fire protection concept and a fire control matrix. We also took over the quality assurance.
