We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Dam Engineer to join our team, specializing in dam engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the design, safety assessment, and construction of embankment and concrete dams, with a focus on structural and stability analyses. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both local and international projects and to make a significant impact in the field of civil engineering.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design activities in dam engineering, including both embankment and concrete dams, from conceptual stages through to construction projects.
- Coordinate and conduct dam safety assessment studies, with an emphasis on structural integrity and stability.
- Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary engineering and modeling teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to travel internationally for short- to mid-term assignments as required.
Requirements profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering (M.Eng or MSc. or PhD is an asset).
- At least 8 years of proven experience in dam engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful local and international projects.
- Extensive experience in the conception, design, and construction follow-up of dams.
- Proficiency in static and dynamic analysis of embankment and concrete dams to recognised ICOLD, USBR, and other standards.
- In-depth knowledge of international standards and guidelines for dam design,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in French or Italian is highly desirable.
