Congress Hotel Elbbrücken, Hamburg

Since 2018 the congress hotel Elbbrücken in Hamburg has been under construction. The project involves the construction of a new accommodation facility (congress hotel) with meeting facilities, a two-storey congress lobby, catering areas, office use and a two-storey underground car park. The building is classified as a high-rise building.

The Gruner Business Unit Fire safety, Building physics Germany supports the new building in questions concerning fire safety: concepts, evacuation simulations as well as the processing of the project by means of BIM are included. This is one of many examples where digitalization and fire safety meet - and cannot do without each other.
